	A Series Simplex Alarm Panels Simplex alarm panels are a low-cost option for effluent sewer (STEP) systems and pump control into conventional gravity or pressurized drainfields where cost is the critical factor. The “A” panel is designed to control a low horsepower simplex pump and alarm system. Pump power switching is handled directly by the pump’s ON/OFF float switch, which must be motor-rated. Options are limited (see nomenclature). Note: Orenco’s A, S, and DAX series of standard electromechanical control panels are specifically designed for use with effluent pumping and onsite treatment systems, when pumping from point “A” to point “B.”
