Sand Filter "ASF" Panels are used in sand filter treatment systems to signal alarm events. "ASF" panels include controls for two pumps: one in the septic tank, the second in the sand filter. Interconnected controls prevent the septic tank pump from running if a high-level alarm condition occurs in the sand filter. Pump power switching in "ASF" series panels is handled directly by the pump's ON/OFF float switch, which must be motor rated.
