Family

We’re like a family – crazy uncle, occasional dysfunction, and all – and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether it’s helping out each other’s kids (Girl Scout cookies, anyone?), raising money for a co-worker in crisis, or donating clothing and household supplies for an employee whose house burned down, we’ve done it.

Dress code
(Can you say “jeans every day?”)

Basically, it’s always casual Friday around here. Sure, you’ll probably need to dress up for a meeting now and then but clean, comfortable clothes are usually fine.

Educational Assistance

To encourage continuous learning, Orenco has a tuition reimbursement program for qualifying courses.

Health & Wellness

In addition to a fully equipped exercise room, Orenco employees get corporate membership discounts at select gyms in the area. And you can join in on some fun fitness and health-focused contests or lunch-and-learns.

Get Out(side)

Our FiberGraphic ping pong table sits outside the main office, so all you need is a 10-minute break and a friend to have a game. And lots of employees take walks down the runway on their breaks. (That’s right – our headquarters sits on an old airport.)

In addition to our standard paid holidays, Orenco typically closes for about a week during the December holidays. We help employees fund this week off work with a couple of extra PTO days that we call “closure pay.”

Healthcare

You pick from dental, vision, and health plans. Orenco pays most of the cost of insurance for employees and contributes to the expense of dependent coverage.

401(K) Match

You might want to retire someday. To help you get there, Orenco provides a 401(k) with a 3% company match, along with profit sharing (when available).

Life Insurance & Supplemental Life

Orenco pays 100% of the premium for a $15,000 life insurance policy and ADD insurance for each employee. You can also buy supplemental life insurance for you and your family.

Flexible Spending Accounts

We also offer an FSA program. It helps you cover qualifying medical expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Disability Insurance

If you’re ever knocked off your feet, you can rest assured that we’ll have your back with short- and long-term disability insurance. Orenco pays 100% of the cost of your insurance premiums.

Family Leave - FMLA, OFLA, OSL

This alphabet soup covers a variety of family, medical, parental, military, and bereavement leave programs available for approved time off work. These programs give you the peace of mind to know that your job is held for you for your eventual return to work. Employees typically fund these absences through their available PTO banks.

If you need a little extra assistance, our EAP is here to help with counseling, substance abuse, elder and dependent care, and much more.

We call it PTO - paid time off

Taking a break definitely helps refresh and recharge, so we provide PTO for qualifying full-time and part-time employees. The longer you’re here, the more you’ll earn.
