Meet the ProSTEP Effluent Pumping System

Remember the decades-old television commercial about Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? The slogan, “Two great tastes that taste great together!”, highlighted the unbeatable flavor combination of luscious milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter.  

The ProSTEP™ Effluent Pumping System is kind of like those delicious peanut butter cups – only better (in our opinion). It combines Orenco® Systems’ patented Biotube® ProSTEP Pump Package with Infiltrator™ Water’s durable, polypropylene ProSTEP tank, resulting in a sewer system unlike any other.  

This collaboration is the first of many Orenco Systems-Infiltrator Water Technologies projects created by our combined R&D teams. The ProSTEP system delivers a highly efficient, pressurized, liquid-only sewer for wastewater collection and treatment at a comfortable price point. The system protects, transports, and filters wastewater, making this advanced effluent pumping system ideal for diverse applications.  

ProSTEP includes seven top-quality, preassembled components for seamless integration. They’re all packaged in a ProSTEP Tank:  

• Biotube pump vault: Standard or custom height
• ClickTight™ or splice box: Protects wiring and offers UL-listed NEMA 6P protection
• Risers, lids, and secondary safety barriers: Sturdy access points with strong protection
• Float switch assembly: Reliable liquid-level control
• Discharge assembly: Flexible design means no hard plumbing
• Effluent pump: Offers 25-year life with routine maintenance
• Control panel: Engineered for wastewater treatment applications
