Preferred Technology Replaces Failing Sand Filter
Problem
A failing sand filter at an Army recreational area urgently needed to be replaced with a system that could handle seasonal flows.
Solution
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (the Corps) chose to sole source Orenco’s AdvanTex® Treatment System as a preferred technology. As a result, an experienced construction bidder was able to complete the installation within 120 days.
